I had been waking up on and off all night last night because I have a cold. Well I finally said forget it and stayed up at 5 am. I took my coffee out on our back deck be our house is about ten acres of wood and we are a half mile off the road in Cedar Springs MI. Anyway I love watching the deer that we ha email been feeding as well as all the other critters EXCEPT chipmunks they have been a HUGE menace this year. Ugh Anyway stick with me here LOL. Anyway I heard a super strange sound and lots of leaves and sticks breaking and I look around and literally 3 feet at most away from was a Doe giving birth to two fawns. It was absolutely breathtaking. I just stayed as still and quiet as I could because I did not want her to abandon her babies. But I wanted to get my camera. However I did manage to wake my boyfriend as they walked across the driveway into the woods. I was shaking it was surreal. Thanks for listening to my rant.

wow, that sounds cool. Looking forward to seeing the pics. How long did it take the fawns to be able to get up and walk?

They were up almost immediately after they got out and they were stumbling all around. The cutest little things I have seen

And I have to say the Internet and this stuff is foreign to me. I'm on mostly only when I'm sick. Lol
