Leaving work early Thur. Falling temps, rising pressure, steady wind out of the direction I like it, & a decent chance of rain that morning. That all ='s a buck fever exit after lunch for this guy.

Now watch, I probably won't see a damn thing & I'll be whining that all this stuff is garbage & doesn't work!

For what’s it’s worth (which isn’t much) we noted our biggest and best buck movement last season was the last week of October. Bucks were moving at all times of day the few days before Halloween. Normally for us that action doesn’t happen until November.

While I prefer the last week of October and the first week of November I normally do not allow long range (meaning more than 2-3 days) weather forecasts to affect when or if I hunt. In my experience I could roll dice and be just as right in long range weather forecasting.

Noted the same thing last year. 50 degree weather at night on 26,27,28 of October with low's in 30's on 30th and 31st with an inch of snow Nov. 1st. Crazy number of bucks on cameras 29,30,31. I picked the weekend before to hunt and saw squat lol!
