A 9lb 3oz bass was weighed in yesterday’s BFL tournament. It was caught by a co-angler from Kentucky and it was his only fish. I guess if you’re only going to catch one that’s the one to catch.

That hog you caught would of gave it a run for the money Aj that was probably the biggest small mouth I ever had in the boat ! I guess I should put the battery in the scale then we will know .

I don't think any where near 9#s but was big. Sent norm some pics and the pictures don't do justice.. There were some big ones, say close to 6# for sure. Told him I'll bring a scale next trip ;)

Are you sure it isn’t a misprint? There would be more talk about it if it was true I would think.

I just asked about this on Bass Boat Central since that is more of a tournament crowd. If someone confirms it I'll post here.

I just saw similar post on BBC. I watched the weigh in the big bass on the angler side was 5-11 and on the co angler side was six and change. Not a 9 lber. Gotta be a mistake on their site.

It shows to be true on the FLW BFL weigh in page but that still doesn’t mean it wasn’t a misprint or typo.
