I'm a new guy in the neighborhood and am looking to join up with a co-op in the area (cement city). does anyone happen to know if they're still around since MUCC lost their funding?

Did you buy your uncles place? Squaw creek Co-op isn't that far. I know the leader pretty well, can find out if you fall within their bounds.

I have called those in my area. All have lost their funding and fell apart.

New place a mile west. My good buddy is still on that piece though. Just hasn’t been the same since they started farming the neighbors.

Not sure why a Co op needs "funding", but any excuse will do if you're not committed.
It's usually a case of lack of leadership and if you want it to happen, be the change you want to see. The seeds have already been sewn so a little water and a dab of fertilizer can easily rekindle some interest.
