It's a no go at big bend too. Oxbow looks possible. Looks like it's gonna be 131 launch or oxbow, talk about opposite ends of the river lol

Mecosta county tryi g to extend 2 launches. Davis and brower...wouldn't have faith in it!
I responded with just put angle on end of launch, gravel bed will hold up smaller boats.
    Looks like waders! lol
Or 4 man crew lifting boat off trailer!
Flip side.... freaking opener forecasted for 72 wth

Well I guess we'll try and fish Croton for the opener then. Never been on there with a boat. Iced fished it about 25 years ago a few times.

So it looks like memorial weekend the water will still not be back in yet.

So the Mardi Gras necklaces and beer cans will wind up somewhere else. Good.

I normally launch at 131 think it will still be possible with a 16ft sea nymph fishing machine?

If the trailers are getting hung up I'd be tempted to try strapping inner tubes to the trailer to help get it over the last pad. They can be easily put on and taken off at the ramp. The current is another issue though.

I think you may be able to just realize up there the water is at least 4 feet lower than normal.

I'm not sure if i can launch the 16 footer at the xway. Thought about a dry run when winter leaves. Usually we go out at night or really early, not this year lol so low need to see where the rocks are, even going down river!

I seen a couple 16 footers perch fishing earlier in March. I know I would not be running in the dark at all. There is a lot of hazards down there. Up by Rogers dam it very shallow right now.

Another thing there is not the water for the normal boat traffic opening weekend. Thinking of going with a camera there should be some intense action taking place down there this year. Best advice would be fish elsewhere this year. Unless you want to play bumper boats or sink your boat. Likely both!!

That's what I told my wife....this should be interesting! Rock bumping should be the best! Lmao
