Happy Fathers day to all the Dads out there! ICE THOSE FISH ! Tired of seeing bleached out , belly up dead wells of all of the easy limits. Soaking fish in 70 degree plus is not good table fare.

    Happy Father's Day all.

I turn Lipton Brisk bottles into blocks of ice and then put water in the cooler with the fish. Water turns ice cold and covers all the fish without taking up too much space in the cooler and without having to root around in the cubes to cover fish and taking a dorsal in the hand! Bottles are reusable each trip.

    Happy Dads day!
Live wells are for bass fisherman. Lol
Fish begin to rot soon as they die.
Gill em and ice em down dads.

Happy Father's day! Thank you dad for getting me into the outdoors! This is my second year without my dad and miss him everyday! Let's all get our kids doing something outdoors be it fishing, hunting, camping...anything but sitting on a phone or tablet!!

Better idea: walleye and tater tots for breakfast.

Praise God and thanks to MDNR for this fishery!

Happy Father's Day. My dad is still around and still trying to work even being a decade or two past retirement. Third time with a cancer diagnosis but he wont stop. Doesn't seem to slow him down. He thinks it's to hot to fish right now and sometimes to early but he will go build a deck or side a house. Oh well, love him either way.

  13. Happy Father’s Day to all. Will be celebrating later with my son and grandson, who is just 6 weeks old. Enjoy the day everyone.

My dad and I used to fish for bass in Florida with 12 inch shiners tied under a balloon,
When that balloon would start dancing he would slowly take one more pull on his Marlboro put his smoke in his little bean bag ashtray and set the hook while yelling BOO-YA !
