Normally I hang out in the waterfowl area of the forums but the family wants to go North to Hamlin lake and fish. Nothing fancy just poles and worms. We have tried earlier this year fishing the western shore and got nothing, and then tried the middle bay. I caught one. Any suggestions for bluegills and perch? Only going for part of the day and not looking to take anyone's secret location. Maybe south to the lily pads but I heard that is for pike? We will be on a pontoon not deep rigging it. Any suggests would be greatly appreciated.

Go for bluegills in deeper water with crickets and slip bobbers fish should be in mid depth .You won't be disappointed if the weather is right .
