I just purchased a gun safe that was included in a home purchase, its a Browning Medallion safe. Any way I started loading some guns into it last night and locked it up. What I noticed is that the when its locked the door is not tight in its locking position, as in it wiggles a bit in and out. Not sure if im even explaining this right but is this normal? I feel like for security and fire reasons the door should tight and flush in the safe when locked. Has any one experienced this? Any way to fix it?

Yeah, the seal on good safe doors swell when they hit a certain temperature and seal off the contents from heat/smoke/water. Not sure if that's the case with the Browning Medallion, which I'm pretty certain is made by a different company and Browning just inks their logo onto it.

If the door was preloaded such as to be tight when you shut it, it would be really difficult to engage the pins to lock it.
