Planning a trip to Grand Lake in a couple weeks with 4 guys from work. Was looking for good cheap places to stay and not to FAR from water if possible. Will trailer to water if have to. Were staying Friday -Monday and hopefully finding some decent perch. This will be our 1 and only time up that way. And hows the snow up that way better to bring sleds or quads?
Thanks in advance for any help with this trip...Alpena. ..

For current ice, snow and fishing reports for Grand or Long Lakes it doesn't get any better than Buck's Bait!

DNR has primitive cabins in thompsons state park. Would put you 5 minutes from the water not sure about heat though
