Fished my spot today from 9-5. Bite was hot and heavy from 9-2 then really slowed down. Got 35 perch and 2 pike.

Ok I'll get in a little more in depth... using bright colored jigs (fire tiger) with a live minnow in 10-11 FOW. Perch would not touch the bait unless it was right off the bottom and dead stick. Bait was deffintley and early bite. Water was about 6 FT visibility...

What electronics do you use, if any? Id imagine it would be tough to descern fish from weeds (if present) when they're congregated so close to the bottom. I have a very old "bar style" flasher and never use it. Maybe its time, especially when vis isn't all the way down to bottom.

Never used a flasher... never will....... if u drop down and u get weeds u just gotta play around and find exactly where they are at... but I don't use a flasher. Plus I never really even run into weeds while ice fishing to be honest
