Just dress appropriately and it shouldn't be a problem. Get-Hard_Orange-Vest_POW-Page.jpg

Do not go, find another vehicle.

I’ve worked Detroit for 15 years, mostly 8 mile to 75, Detroit River to Woodward......the area you’ve described is bad.

Do not go, find another vehicle.

Common robbery tactic, they give you an address, you show up, their buddies rob you.

    Do not go

Dude I wouldn’t even drive into that neighborhood let alone to make some kind of hand to hand deal.

You’ll probably end up with one less car instead of one more.

I grew up and lived on the lower east side for 32 years. Worked there for 38 yrs. I havent been back, and wont go back unless I absolutely have to. It's a barren wasteland with maybe 3 houses per block.

Go ahead but get all your affairs in order first and hug your family extra hard before you head out .

Don't do it. Even if you're not getting scammed, you are rolling the dice. No way. I worked those neighbor"hoods" back in the 80's when I was young and fearless. Mugged once and carjacked another time. Yes, the good people far outnumber the bad...but the risk just wouldn't outweigh the opportunity for me. Got in a accident one time and the cops wouldn't even come to issue the other driver a ticket. They recognized my accent. Asked me if my vehicle was drivable (it was), and told me to get out of there and drive to the precinct to file a report. Nice area.

My dad grew up on Brockton over off of Lynch and Mt Elliott. Me and the old man took a spin through there about 10 years back to see if the old family home was still standing, it had collapsed into itself and was probably one of six houses left on the block. Roll up your windows and duck.

You must have lost your mind!

    1. How do you even know the title is legit?

    2. Cash transaction, you're setting yourself up!

    3. You're on unfamiliar turf! All bets are off, good deal or not!

    4. If said vehicle is such a bargain, it could be bait!

I'm unclear - are you saying he should, or shouldn't go?;)

download.jpg images.jpg Hey, just because the place where the car is at looks like this] The inside may look like this. Those car collecters are pretty sneaky and can buy up that real estate cheap

Sounds like a set up to me! “Got this car for sale but I can’t drive it anywhere, meet me in the hood” not a chance!
