Thanks man appreciate it.
For those who did not get a chance to spend some time with the guys from GK Calls don't forget you can see them a the Pointe Mouillee Waterfowl Festival!
Thanks, DS - We will be at Pointe Mouillie, Woods and Water, and the new Harsens Island show!
Very proud of Andrei Anderson, who is 8 years old taking home the first place trophy in the Michigan Junior Duck Calling Championship!
Ya Andrei! I've hunted with that young man.
You guys had a very nice display and it was nice to put a face to a handle.... and congrats to Andrei....
I got a mallard slayer and love the sound. Someone told me they're just an echo insert. Is this true? I was thinking it was the "mallard killer" insert. Also, I left it in my truck and now it seems to sound different. Could the wedge be bad from the heat?
We did, in fact, USE TO use an Echo insert in our Mallard Slayer but we DO NOT anymore. We have our own insert molded insert for our Mallard Slayer and it is one of my favorite calls in the line up!
Extreme heat can definitely factor in the way a call can sound - If you can't get it to sound right, you can send it right to the shop and we will fix it for you free of charge. All of our calls have a lifetime warranty so we are happy to make sure it's just right for you!
It must've been me. Blew it today and it sounds good. I didn't think it was an echo. I'm very happy with it so far. It's all duck.
