One more reminder to keep your pets under control.
Wish my wife would chase deer
Repeated warnings after multiple complaints by neighbors. Poor dog got stuck with negligent owners.
Too bad...but it sounds like the dog and its owners were slow learners..
I thought the LEO did a fantastic job of representing his department.
Post her photo on 1 of those dating apps. Someone will take her off your hands.

Absolutely! That is why he is a Colonel...
Third time, sure it's all there fault?
He should have just took dog to pound maybe found a good owner ,It wasn’t the dog fault he’s just hunting it’s the idiot owners fault for letting him loose. They are the ones that should be punished for letting the dog loose
Oh My Gawd how times change...I grew up in that part of the country well over 50 years ago. Those are not the Vermonters I used to know. A dog was a dog back then. It didn't get the couch or to chase deer. Even Bill Cosby's German Shepherd got plugged back in the 70's by a CO for the same offense back then...
Ever try to catch a dog that's running a deer RD? Ever see a deer that has been chased a long ways by dogs - it isn't a pretty sight.
Our pets can not be allowed to roam around the woods unsupervised. They (dogs and cats) are natural born hunters and killers and that is what they do when they are not kept in check.
I agree with you that the owners should be held responsible but what can you do when the owners have been warned and they do nothing to correct the situation?
Could have when to the house when the dog returned.Iwould think they have some law where they could fine owners or take the dog.I guess I am to much of a dog lover.I would rather see the owners get hurt
