Pretty pumped to get these in the mail. Brian from Silver Wolf sent me the finished pics this morning. They’ll finish curing this week and ship on Friday.

It’ll be a bummer, thankfully it doesn’t happen very often. I think I lost one this season.

I've been thinking about getting some of these. What did you pay for them if you don't mind me asking?

$150 for 18. That was shipped and with a length of tubing. They have a really nice thick clear coat on them that will help protect them from the line and getting dinged up and deteriorating. Obviously they look nice but guys rave about their durability. That was the main reason i bought these. If I don’t lose them and the durability is there I look at them as a good investment. Also Brian Smith was great to deal with. Excellent communication throughout the build. He sent pictures throughout the build process to keep me updated as well as date shipped with tracking. Shipped Friday, I had them Saturday.

Idk what his backlog is now but I ordered on March 6 and he said he was buried. He told me 6 weeks, ended being about 5.

Durability of good handmade’s are no comparison to the cheep raven’s, claws, blackbirds. If you can rig right and keep them out of trees some will last months.

You certainly got my attention. Sure look nice. Did you get them in several different weights?

You can. Also different styles. I use 15 gram 99% of the time so that’s what’s I ordered

I think I would be in the same boat as far as using the 15 gram most of the time. I wondered if more or less floatation would be of benefit when using a jig under a float. Do you still use the same shot line when fishing with a weighted jib as you would with an egg?

Look up Troutguy 26. He's a member here, pretty cool dude and he happens to build some damn nice floats.

I don’t change my float/shot line when changing between tube jigs, marabou jigs, euro jigs, beads or spawn. All of those offerings are very light and will still maintain their presentation first position.
