ALSO WAS SURPRISED THAT THE GULP RED CRAWLERS WORKED REAL WELL TOO
Anyone know about getting through the channel connecting Allen and wolf lake? Also anyone know if crispell lake is any good for bass? Thanks
I haven't done it yet this year but i did last year!!
You can get through both channels very easily. Can fish Allen, wolf, or meadow lake. Allen is the middle lake. I have seen pontoons go through both channels and I have went through there this year.
Is Lake Somerset in Hillsdale public or private, and thanks in advance.
Thank you,that what I thought,wasn't sure tho
Been a while since i've posted but i am stumped. I am trying to catch bluegills in the summer and have never done this before. Any tricks to catching a few for a meal? I went out tonight with nightcrawlers under a float and only caught a few. I know you guys have a few tricks for summer gills.
Try fishing on the bottom using a tight line rig. Crickets and wax worms work well.
Thanks! Headed out tonight after work again. Ill post results
yeah that's correct I have perch rigs ready for Erie but will hit gills first few days
Well we didnt do so hot. No big deal. Still had a good time with my two sons out on the water. We will be back out today also. Thanks again guys.
2 days ago went got some nice gills actually 8 ft down 12 ft water towards shore right before dark
depends on the body of water but this time of year the gills relate to the thermal cline. you can find them suspended or near the bottom. they are at 20-25' on my lake. Just tightline straight below the boat.
