So I have a Helix 7 mounted to my dash with a RAM mount. The ram mount is not sufficient to hold the weight of this unit. It will "sag" while under way. I am looking for recommendations for an upgrade. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

    Bailout brand.

Machined indents with ball bearings. This is the 6” arm. I put a acker plate under the dash and graph is solidly mounted.

Bit pricey but worth it to me.

You could go to a bigger ball diameter ram mount if you like that style.

Thanks guys. I looked at the billet aluminum mount. Pricey, but nice. I'm indifferent to the RAM style, it didn't even occur to me to go with a larger dia ball.

Larger ball on my Garmin 9" works great!

I believe it is actually Balzout mount. Have 2 on my boat and rock solid
A bit pricey but buy once cry once. Oops ya already had some tears.

6 inch on dash brings my Lorance out to steering wheel making it easy to see but off to side so I can see forward.

9 inch up front allows great viewing even if standing and wi th release of one knob drop it down below cover and out of sight.

    Oh rock solid in waves.

    You are correct.

Did not notice that auto correct changed the name. Did not proof read.

Yea, saw the cisco from my buddy. Ended up buying another RAM mount but larger size ball. On a budget for the time being. Thanks for the reply.
