Winchester model 94 deluxe AE. Still have it, killed 3 deer with it. It's fancy and I over paid for it, it doesn't shoot to good. But the first rifle I bought and paid for with my own money. I shoulda have bought the model 70 featherweight in 300wm but I was 15yrs old dad said it was too much gun. Would like to kill another deer with it one day. But archery hunting suits my style these days.

    My
Grandpa's sporterized Sprinfield 30-06. He did an amazing job with it, definitely not a Bubba special.
First rifle I killed a deer with was my dad's Husqvarna .270. It was his rifle when he was 16 until he died.
I still have them both, still shoot them all the time.

First gun I purchased on my own was a Browning 81L BLR, 7MM Rem-Mag.
I didn't have to purchase until later on, plenty of hand-me-downs or borrow from dad. From .22's to .410's 20 gauges, 12 gauges, 30-30's 30-06 etc. Being the only grandson and nephew I inherited a lot of good hunting guns. Wish the owners were still here instead.

I never knew Husqy made rifles! That is awesome, I just goggled it. Nice looking guns too.

Ok, I learned something today. Now I can relax. Lol

Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in 30-06 that my dad bought after returning from WWII. Used it on whitetails, mule deer, elk, and pronghorn before handing it down to my son. Always loved that gun.

That's a great first rifle. Surely you are still hunting with it. Are you?
