Sounds like a REALLY good spot!
Awesome deer for sure, on top of it being state land. Congrats on a great buck!
Great buck and story thanks for sharing.
Would “wow” cover everything??
John if there’s one guy on these forums that talks the talk and walks the walk it’s you. Congrats again.

He looks great John!!! Congrats again
That is one cool buck!
A buck like that off state land is extra impressive. Congratulations.
I have a couple cameras out. Haven’t gotten anything that excites me on camera yet this year. One young decent ten point but I’m not shooting him. I hope he makes it two more years. This year I’m getting more guys on camera then deer. I think that’s hurting things a bit. But that’s beyond my control. I’m hoping to hunt it for the first time this year tomorrow morning if the rain stops. I love the spot and potential. It’s one of my favorite spots I’ve ever hunted from a set up stand point. It’s an incredible pinch point. Deer funnel by there like crazy normally. I’m not sure what all this human pressure is going to do but it can’t be good. Not having a good private land spot to hunt is new to me and not easy. I have a new found respect for the state land hunter!
