What more can I say. The horse has been beat so bad that even the scavengers don’t want to peck at it. Masks this and masks that, I believe that we have had enough information to make a educated decision.

How is everyone’s garden doing this year. My potato’s and cucumbers did great. I cut the cucumbers down tonight as we have plenty of pickles now. My cucumber vines get very big this year and my pepper plants are behind. I should have tomato’s soon. Got must stuff in the ground a few later than I wanted.

That's what I was thinking when I took a day away from working at our farm.

I went to Witches Hat to get some beer. Seems like every commercial was covid something and/or an it's the law type commercial.

I'll try to not leave the farm much for awhile.

I'll still go buy beer, just listen to Irish drinking song cds instead of the radio.

My tomato plants are sick but still producing. I have leaf curl from top to bottom. Only think I can figure is too much wind up on my deck.

I had a great day. Got on the Huron river at 11:30 this morning kayaking at Island lake rec. Beautiful day until started raining. It was just sprinkles at first and we did not care. It down poured the last 15 minutes, but we still did not care. But the 20 minutes we stud there waiting for the truck with the trailer to return to haul the four kayaks was miserable. Down poured and mosquitoes ate us up. But overall it was a good day.

I smoked a brisket for the first time today. Next time I need to start it at 6 am rather than noon.

There’s a cure for covid posts. Don’t click on them. What you don’t know won’t hurt you.

My cucumber plants came down today as well.
I made 68 pints of pickles this year and getting cherry tomatoes every day now. Also looks to be a banner year for the herbs.

In my younger days I would have been hitting the trout streams with crawlers in hand.
A week with no rain and then this.
The big boys come out to play!

I woke up at 4. Dogs looked at me as if I was nuts when I tried to let them out. Boat was floating down the driveway. Saved me a trip driving it to the lake to launch it. Now if only I could get my damn back to quit barking at me.
