Eating crayfish

    I live in mi could you tell me why I'm seeing all the crawfish claws on shore something has bee eating them at night there's no trees around for coon the grass is loaded with blue claws each morning there are more and the eaters cold 7

    Coons will too, as well as other animals.......but the biggest threat is the " Michigan Crayfish Trappers ".....LOL

    X2 on the otters. Otters don't eat the claws and have one hell of an appetite. Look for an otter toilet around the area. They usually regurgitate fish scales and crayfish Parts in a pile. They push-up grass and poop on it it's usually pretty runny. If you find that hundred percent sure it's an otter

    Although otters typically like cover and prefer habitat with trees overhead. Coons can you use bank dens as well and don't necessarily need trees. Mink is a possibility as well.
