Returning to LSSU for school this fall and I wanted to see if anyone had tips on where to waterfowl hunt in the area, I have a boat and layout blinds so I'm open to almost anywhere, thanks

As mentioned above you will have to do some scouting on your own to find places to hunt. Nobody is going to give up their spots on the internet. You will be up there a month or so before duck season opens, use that time to explore the area and find your own honey holes. Satellite photos are your friend, but they wont tell you current conditions so the best bet is to get out there and see it in person.

You have plenty of options in that area from big water to backwoods beaver ponds. Put the work in ahead of time and you will be rewarded.
