just curious on if anyone targets walleye from shore at night along the detroit river and how do you do? i fish the SCR at night regularly and have been doing decent. im not looking for any spots or tips or tactics or whatever, just looking for a little bit of confidence to go out and try the river. have tried a couple times in the past but have only picked one up at night. i know the only way to know is to go out and try, but just want a little bit of an idea on if theres even any fish worth trying for. thanks for any help in advance.

Its been years but yes I have. I own a boat now so no longer needed. I fished off of belle isle and usually right under the Mac Arthur bridge (Belle isle bridge) I used to be able to park right under the bridge not sure now.
Best and most unusual tactic I've seen used was a guy casted a BB with a Pencil plug and did very well.
I've even caught a steelhead casting a twister tail
