Leelanau Christian Neighbors has a food bank in Lake Leelanau whose clients are already asking if venison will be available to them again this year. We are able to donate a doe, or maybe two, each year. From personal experience, this is a very worthy charity operation, feeding the hungry in our communities.

Buntings Market in Cedar will take the deer, process the venison into burger and get the meat to the food bank in Lake Leelanau. And they do a great job with the processing. This is part of the Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger program.

Please see the attached flyer. Thanks for your consideration.

Some Deer / Meat Processor's do this as well. When I have taken deer in they ask if you want to donate some...

    Bump it UP.

Nice article in the TC paper today. This MSAH program does a world of good for the hungry folks among us (and there a lot of them).
