Don't want to hi-jack this thread, but is this the same "Snow" family that made fiberglass sneak boats in the '70s? I have one, and would like more information on them - which is exceedingly difficult to come by.

I believe Ron Snow's uncle (Bob?) made the sneak boats. Great boats! Big, seaworthy and moved quickly in the water.

Yes this is the same family that you're referring to on the Snow sneak boats. Walt and Bob Snow had contracted with a fiberglass business in Clifford MI to make the boats off the design the two had created. The design was based off Pecore Fox sneak boats. When they made the boats they were shot into the molds with a chopper gun rather than hand laying the fiberglass. The sneak boats were made from the late 1960's till the mid 1970's. CJB

Cool. Thanks for the info. I love my boat and have done some significant repairs and mods to it since I acquired it in WAY less than seaworthy condition 12 years or so ago.
