i just remembered why I rig my own boats!

So while trying to replace the dinosaur Garming, I started from both ends. The transducer was cock-eyed (I knew that at purchase)

The power cable wrapped all kinds of way... (that should have been my second clue)

Pulled a taped cord from the helm back. Great until I found this fool went around, in front and wrapped the transducer cable every way he/she could. Mostly the steering cables....

Needless to say, I had to open each compartment, use fish tape every 6”.

Not to mention the amount of adhesive and lack of in critical places

So far 4 hours into a job that should have amounted to 1+.....

How does one consider themselves a professional even by doing overkill?

Boat companies should be building in rigging races right from the start. That would help the problem.

When my boat was rigged, and when a second job was done, they pulled the floor up to run the cables.
