Since the DNR has scaled back testing dramatically, are there any other options to get your deer tested?
This is All New for 2020, the DNR talks that there will be "Private" Labs that Hunters can use but when you use the link in the Guide there is no "Labs" listed. And there is talk about "Testing" in the Disease Section some mentioned that most states use a University as they did with a Lab on MSU. But also that Lab was closed partially this year. I don't see a private lab opening and being Certified to do the Testing and have a system set up and working in such a short time. Sad part is the DNR once talk that you were Not to eat a Deer with CWD! So Now how does one know if they Cannot get their Deer Tested? And what will be the "Cost" for this Testing??? Newaygo1
Exactly...I eat venison at least 3-4x/week throughout year and I would feel much better knowing that my deer tested negative.
