WRONG!...oh sorry, got caught up in the moment.
You know I wouldn't even of responded to him like that if he was actually right occasionally.
Oh, I know. Been there with him myself lol.
Leaving sunday, for Orleans and going to give the lungs a rest and be like you old guys pissing every 15 after you take your water pills
Have fun and yes those water pills suck.
Yeah but those water pills do not give you a buzz. What he is planning on drinking will cause him to piss every 15 minutes but he will get a buzz. Depending on how much, he may even get a hangover as well.
Have a safe and great time jr28shalm.
PS Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and everyone else.
Stick and I will look after your deer for ya....
Joe did his part in harvesting a 5 pt 1.5.
My issue with Joes comments are that they hold no water. No where is it proven that CWD will end if you kill off more deer. Simple. Joe will do whatever the DNR tells him to do and that is to support the DNRs plan which is the same as every other state which CWD exists in and that plan does not work at all. All it does is add more license dollars to the DNR fund which is the main goal.
Listening to Joe talk about lowering age structure in Michigan is comical. Could be one of the worst states in the union for age structure.
Every avenue that the Wisconsin DNR has tries has failed. Baiting illegal in Most of Wisconsin, earn a buck, special seasons, sharp shooting. You name it and it has failed to slow the spread of CWD.
Yes, and the MIDNR is now using tried and true failed policies that are irrational. Why, because they can say that they did something. The brass in the DNR needs to be replaced with personnel that can add and subtract.
I agree. I'd like to hear your thoughts on what they could do from a regulation standpoint to motivate hunters to carry out said plan, and what that plan would be. Has this plan ever worked? Anywhere?
I agree, the irony is we as hunters purchasing hunting licenses, are paying for this level of intelligence or lack of it? They maybe educated, but appear to lack God given common sense.
Or in a nutshell we are paying for followers not leaders?
I am not a research scientist so I am not the best guy to ask.
My priority would be direct research with prions.
The only present idea that I see as being contributive to a better result is the restrictions on carcass transport. I have no idea how compliance is going with that.
I think the plan is part of the problem. It is based on false premises, IMO.
I also don't believe that attempting to kill every deer is a productive approach.
I understand your preferred approach and we know that, on that particular point, that we will disagree. That might be based on the kill more does approach which is based on the fewer deer, fewer infected deer idea.
Working outside the box to find a way to neutralize the prions will be the only thing that works. The money however is spent on counting dead deer. I am not saying that it is not important to identify infected deer but that will never stop the disease.
A rational response. Kudos.
