Prior to 2019, I would completely agree simple calls resulted in positive experiences and appropriate changes which generally never required another call. That has not been my experience since 2019. Invariably the response is "we'll check on it" and sometimes updates are made, other times they are not. I lost track of the number of times I contacted the DNR to ask for updates and/or noted issues with inconsistent reporting over the past year.

The issues with transparency in CWD reporting began in 2019... connect the dots. The only person who can change this is the one orchestrating the deceptions.

    Wow!!!

With so few positives, they must really have this thing licked!
Our DNR and NRC have done a masterful job....

They ought to be commended for their efforts!

Maybe they should be put in charge of this Covid-thingy.....

Wow. We really don’t care about CWD anymore.

Spin it anyway you want but clearly the leadership doesn’t care anymore

Maybe reporting only includes the tests they pay for... hard to believe only 3 tests in the past month for Montcalm(1), Kent(0) and Ionia(2).

No test, no data, no evidence... Michigan DNR is making history, leading the way to epic failure, choosing to neglect science and cause irreparable harm to Michigan whitetails.

I gave up hope on the DNR/NRC 10 years ago. Real shame they are such a joke

WAKE up! our Department of unNatural Resources succeeded - in satisfying the Department of Agricultural-
Lessen the risk of transfer from whitetail to cattle
Every cwd meeting dept. of ag. present
Dept. of ag. and dnr hiring sharp shooting masacuring thousands of whitetail and dumping them however, thousands of acres of state/government owned land still closed to hunting
Farmers kill the sandhill cranes let them rot, hunters can't by a license that supports conservation take their kids to a farm field harvest a sandhill and eat it
To make the hunters happy- you now can kill 11 deer, use rifles where once you couldn't and now for 5 WEEKS!
For a short time it will look like they did a good job but, when the youth wake up early all season and hardly see a deer they quit
