Since there are varying opinions on CWD Management, I wanted to see where the Sportsmen and Sportswomen on this site fall with respect to three hot button topics.

(NOTE: I also attempted to add other items such as deer farms, but ran out of "possible responses" in the poll.)

By baiting do you mean the past rule of 2 gallons in area of 100 sq. ft. ? Or a more limited idea of only a single bit item, like corn within the same limits ? This was discussed last fall/winter.

Good question. For the sake of this survey, let’s say an all out ban on baiting (AGAINST baiting)vs 2 gallons of a single bite bait, such as corn, spread out in a 10’ x 10’ area (FOR baiting).

DOH! ...and then Mr Fat Thumbs goes and hits the wrong response!

I meant to select the last one.

Why didn't the OP make it so that you can change your response?????

    For baiting
    For APR trial in Montcalm
    For deer farms

Edit: It wasn't asked, but I'm also for taxidermists and for deer processors. However, if the deer farming industry is under the microscope then it's only fair that those industries should also be examined for their role in deer disease transmission.

I hadn’t given your last statement any thought until now....it is certainly a thought provoker.

Had to give it a like on those grounds.

It is a fair point, one that seems to be on the radar already. Notice the who what where and how questions asked on the last survey.

So, at this juncture, with 47 votes in, it appears as though:

53% of respondents are for baiting in a CWD zone.
36% of hunters are for APR's in a CWD zone.

Since there is not a survey out on baiting, I am at least curious as to what the CWD area survey results will be on APR's vs. this survey.
