I'm sitting here on the couch and a decent 6just walked through the back yard. If this rain would just quit messing with the hunting.

It's miserable out there. I just tried to put out a couple of pop-ups for gun season and stopped after the first one.

Some 2 yr olds moving during day light but 3’s are doing some chasing after dark

    Your results may vary.

It won’t be long until all hell breaks loose

If you have un-pressured bedding/cover, you should be in great shape. I know you only hunt the best habitat Randall, don't hold out on us!

Saw six bucks last night, one of which I would've shot, one doe. Many scrapes have popped up.
Activity will increase from now till boom, boom, boom, boom, boom time, with sporadic lock down days mixed between.

The reason you saw 6 bucks last night is the warm front had them on their feet. Hopefully the coming decrease in temps won't have them hunkering down for too long before they adjust to the discomfort.

If anyone has untouched hunting land all to themselves this weekend Should be excellent. If others share the land with you then not excellent near as much.

Definitely. One hunter on 10 acres will be much better positioned for success than two hunters on 240 acres.

That was clearly post rut feeding activity. The rut started in September on Freep's ground.

    Just kidding Freep.

We've finished writing our book but we can't agree on whose name is listed first on the cover.

He has proposed a coyote trapping contest, with the winner listed first. I believe we should settle it like real men and see who can consume the most donuts in 10 minutes.

You can bet he ain't taking that bet.
