I hear there is gonna be bait infused with antibiotics to heal this bacterial disease.

Bold claims. He'd be the miracle worker. I hope it comes true. "Nobel prize", "seven years". Send your money.

It sounds promising. We can only hope it's true. Will definitely change things going forward if can be proven.

Encouraging but I'm skeptical. It doesn't make sense to me that humans are last on the list. I do hope the good doctor is right though.

While I hope there is truth to it i to am skeptical. And why would we be waiting 3 years for the treatment shouldn't that be first way before a hunter test kit? I didnt hear him say anywhere that there has been successful testing done to animals so at this point it seems no more than a theory.

It would really be something if this is true cuz I think CWD has been around since the early 70s. Almost 40 years of thinking CWD was caused by Prions!!!

Its awesome. At least the guy is actually doing scientific study. The DNR is just telling people to shoot more deer and test heads for prevalence.

I give baiting ban one year then they will allow baiting but using medicated bait to spread throughout the herd to win against this disease.

i'm not trying to be the devils advocate here. but if there was no hunting how many of those hunters would still stand up for our 2nd amendment rights. without hunting groups to fight for our rights how long do you think the 2nd amendment would last. hunters buying guns, ammo, and other hunting items funds the gunmakers in there fight for our rights. so yes I believe if hunting for big game animals stopped the 2nd amendment wouldnt last long. just my opinion though.

What im getting at is at least he is trying something. It would be nice if the states DNR biologists came out and said they are helping to fund CWD research. I imagine they are or maybe they are not. Funding for clinical testing and scientific study is so expensive its crazy. Im talking in the billions and billions of dollar range. An example is the study and cure for Hep C that is now available.
