Just curious how many NRA Certified instructors are on this forum? I’m on my second set of credentials which is still new NRA wise, but was an army instructor prior, and am my companies Range Officer, Glock Armorer, as well as Taser instructor certified.

Along the same vein, are there any options for CPL classes from someone not affiliated with the NRA in any way? I'm interested but seem to only be seeing NRA related instructors or businesses offering classes.

Eh, I generally disagree with their politics and would rather do the whole speak with your money thing and avoid anyone affiliated if possible. Seems to be harder to do for this particular interest however.

Yeah, why support anyone that protects your constitutional right.

Not looking for any arguments, just an answer to the question:
Are there any options for CPL classes from someone not affiliated with the NRA in any way?

It would be nice if you listed your location, otherwise, you might be sent to Timbuktu. That is what I usually do, but today I am in a good mood.

There are currently two ways to be certified for the pistol safety training course. Take a course through a National Rifle Association (NRA) certified instructor or through the programs that are presented by a law enforcement agency using MCOLES certified instructors.
This is a list of MCOLES certified CPL programs.
