So when i started the season i had more sign than i knew what to do with. I have located several dens in my area but all seem like they are no longer in use and where heavily used in august when i found them. I caught two coyotes in the last month one male one female i know there are more out there but my signs have dwindled down to nothing. Caught a rabbit last nite and nothing had attacked it while it was in the trap. I guess to make a long story short where did the coyotes go and does it sound like i need to cut my losses and you pull out of that spot.
If you trap some thing else in that area, pull your traps and keep an eye out for tracks. Then re-introduce coyote to your traps. Your probably in a summer den area. They may have moved to there winter grounds, but they will be back!!! Good luck Jon
