Hard packed snow and slush this am is what I heard.

Probably going to be a bit bumpy this weekend once it freezes rock solid tonight!

How deep were you fishing around Snake? Talked to a couple other guys and they said it was slow for them too....

I have been around Virginia Beach, Georgina, and Thor yesterday and today. This is the slowest I have ever seen this lake. We only have around 12 keepers between seven guys. Is anyone doing any good here this weekend?

Only 7 for us... Hardly marking any. Started at sibbald... over to the red barn for a couple spots..4 drops over by snake... Ended at willow beach in 35FOW... marked a few there and sibbald.

2nd slowest trip that Ive had...Brought Linda over for her first trip.... She caught 1 dink. All.Flipping.Day.

Debating on where to head tomorrow... Have little cedar pt or roaches on the mind.

We fished the red barn area. Slow slow. Biggest was 13.5. We would go about 4 hours without seeing a fish.

We fished Friday thru Sunday. Stayed at Peninsula. Didn't do much moving around as we marked fish all day every day. Lots of dinks but the big ones would swim thru pretty consistently in the AM, slowed in the afternoons. Two of us brought back 130. Hali jigs with minnows, and jigging raps worked the best. We were 28 fow east of Georgina island. Biggest was 14.25. It was a good weekend.

    Bill,

How much ice is left? I assume there is still a ton of ice.

Over two feet of ice where I was. I saw numerous trucks on the ice in the area I was in.
