Stopped at a little park up stream from Yates on the Clinton on Sunday. Used a jig and waxies and caught a few decent browns. I was impressed seeing these fish are surviving the summers and winters in the Clinton. Let em go, let em grow! Wish more fisherman practiced catch and release on these fragile trout streams.

Is the Clinton open above Yates? For some reason I thought it was closed until may but I’m probably wrong. I get confused by the regs pretty easily

Yep it’s open year round. One of the very few places you can catch trout legally this time of year around here til they open the flies only season on the mutated monsters of the Huron.
