Hey guys, I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to post this but I got a great deal on an old 7.5 hp Clinton outboard (k751 1970's blue and white motor). It's obvious the carb needs cleaned but can't find a kit for the carb anywhere online.

If anyone knows a place to buy a kit or even a replacement carb, send me a link please. I'd love to get this old motor running and on the back of my little boat.

Check with Hildebrandts in Coldwater, they have a boat load of old motors and parts.

Do a search on "Antique Outboards" Lot's of info out there. Also do a search on "Clinton Outboard Motors" pages of information.

iboats.com put me in contact with a couple other companies.

I've tried google. I'm pretty good with the Internet, information is very limited and seems like parts are gonna be tough to find. Probably explains why I got a great deal on the motor. But, I am persistent and will find a way.

If you have not done so I would also suggest you call Van's in Grand Rapids. That place has everything under the sun. Was always one of my favorite place to go

Just a thought. Often, an engine maker will use a common brand carb for their engines. Perhaps they used walbro or tillotson or?? carbs. If you can't find any thing for your specific engine, it may be worth a shot to look for a name & model stamped in carb, then go from there.
