I got two as gifts a couple years ago. They were scary sharp when I got them and are great for trout and salmon. I caught a screw head on one of the cutting boards at port sanilac and its never been the same.

I use the 9” stiffie on salmon and the 9” flex on everything else. Probably should have got the 7” flex instead of the 9” flex but I’ve had no problems with either. My salmon knife is probably 5-6 years old and still slices through everything.

Check out the new gerber controller filet knife about $60 comes with built in ceramic sharpener in the sheath excellent handle I like it better than the bubba blade.
