Anyone know of any places that have good pricing on 5/16" or 3/8" diamond braid for long lines? I know bob in Indy usually has good prices but I lost my catalog and haven't received a new one yet. Going to need at least 600' to start. Posted using Outdoor Hub Campfire
There's a good place down south. Pretty sure its called Gulf Coast fishing supply. I'll try to find the link for ya.
www.atagulf.com Last I looked the diamond braid was a great price as well as the snap hooks that attach decoy to mainline. Request a catalog to be sent to you. Lots of good stuff! Good luck.
We get all our stuff from there. Good people. We went with the 3/16" firm braid sinking line. For the main lines and 400lb mono for the diver drops and puddler decoys. Sent from my ADR6350 using Ohub Campfire mobile app
Did you ever price out the 4-6" snaps that attach decoy to mainline. I know when we bought them, like 7-8 years ago they were a FRACTION of the cost of anywhere else. I like that place!
Decoy rigs is the one that's at all the shows. No website but the phone number is 219-659-8371. I usually am one to like and order something online but I make an exception in this case and always just call and order from them. Good prices and good products. I need to call and order another 100 long line clips I am all out.
Do you ever have problems with clips moving with 3/16? Just curious I had a bunch of 1/4 given to me so that's all I've ever used. I noticed on that site they only offer 1/8 and 3/16 for main line sinking rope.
Never a problem with slipping or tangles. We bought their clips as well. If you call them you can talk to one of their salesman, they know what's up. Sent from my ADR6350 using Ohub Campfire mobile app
I think we have to have ordered at least 500 clips (think they where 5"), 3600' of mainline. And 2000' of mono from them so far. Great to do business with. Sent from my ADR6350 using Ohub Campfire mobile app
The waterfowl festival at Point Mouilee this weekend traditionally has two vendors in large tents with every type of rope and many clips. I have purchased there many times over the years. Not sure how competitive they are in terms of price, but it is a good place to spend the day and find many things you may need. http://www.miwaterfowlfest.org/
Memphis Net and twine will blow away all others on line and swivel prices. Google it for the website.
