What are the best lubricants for these? I have a few that need lubing.

    Any of these, or others?

    WD40
    Silicone spray
    Liquid graphite
    Powdered graphite
    White lithium

I always use white lithium for squeaky hinges and whatnot around the house. Wd40 gets gummy and attracts lots of dust and dirt. Plus the white lithium doesn’t run. It’s also good for higher heat applications iirc. And a tube lasts forever. Other stuff has its place too. I find myself reaching for the white lithium most of the time for general long lasting lubrication .

TEFLON in an aerosol can. Commonly sold as REM DRI-LUBE among other brands.

Found some PTFE (teflon) in the local Ace Hardware. It is oil with PTFE in it. Tried it on the door passage sets and deadbolts, seems good. Hopefully it lasts a little while. The bike lock (cable style) is pretty cruddy inside, haven't tried the PTFE on it yet.

The bike lock might need some PB Blaster to free it up.

I agree with powdered (liquid) graphite. It is a dry lube, and is what most Locksmiths recommend.
