I`m thinking about getting a Hatsan Edge 22 cal combo... Anyone have one they care to review for me ? Thanks .
Thanks, I did watch that video earlier today. Went to Jays and came home with one. 30 yards out and it shoots pretty good for a new gun. Actually had (4) 3 shot groups that were all touching out of the 40 or so pellets shot. And that was with the open sites I kept moving the dial to bring my shots down as I was shooting high...Again only with open sites. Mounted the 3-9 scope and focused it. Tomorrow I will try dialing it in . Not bad for the cost. Quite pleased with it so far.
Well got a chance to zero the scope , and to my surprise was shooting some good groups ...25 , 30 35 yards out. 5 shot groups were all minute of squirrel or chipmunk actually they were 1/2" to .75" . Beyond 40 yards with the Benjamin Discovery .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains, Hollowpoint, they started to spread out to much . So with the gun and ammo used so far, I think this will be a great tool for in and around the house for our PEST control Gun/combo , https://www.pyramydair.com/images/PY-3079_Hatsan-Striker-Edge-Air_1463160747.jpg
Never use a metal bore brush on an air rifle, the steel is much softer than that of a powder burner. You will damage the rifling which will make the gun inaccurate. The best way to clean an air rifle barrel is to use a small diameter wooden dowel or weed whacker string and a bore patch soaked in Goo Gone. Run the patches through until they come out clean.
