Rusty Veihl, a local spearer and decoy carver, is fighting Leukemia.
Mr. Veihl's friends and family are putting on a benefit dinner for him to help with medical costs. I've been informed that carvers across the country have donated decoys for auction. A local police officer and his partner have donated an Arctic cooler full of buffalo meat also.
If you're in the area and would like a chance to snag a few dekes in the off season, come on by. Nothing will make your mother happier on this, the holiest of holidays, than a brand new decoy.

I purchased these two decoys at the auction. A Maurice Stiff red/ white and an Allen Wartella of Algoma, WI folk art. I'm not sure how many decoys were there, but out of all of them, the high prize was a "Mace" Mason sucker.
I also purchased a 110 quart RTIC cooler full of buffalo meat and beer. RTIC is a straight up knockoff of Yeti, and has been thoroughly sued.

    Sure do!
Different key to every GD door in the place. When I took over, all those keys were on hooks. To ease in finding what I'm looking for, I spread them out on a shelf.
