Friend went out yesterday. Didn't ask how long they stayed but usually he's a sun up to sun down guy. Said they had one fish all day. Came in at 2.2 lbs. Hog perch, that's it.
Holy crap that's huge! A single fish like that would be worth it to me. Thanks for the report Sent from my SCH-I545 using Ohub Campfire mobile app
Right on man. Nothing wrong with that. I've walked farther and through more snow for less unfortunately. Lol.
It's a 5 1/2 mile walk 2 pound fish is not worth that to me good luck if u go went last Friday and not a bite
I'd do it for a wall hanger for sure! I've never caught a perch that big. PB is 14.25". 2.2 lb is what... 15-16"?! Yea its a tough walk but I don't mind the work out from time to time. The hike is what keeps the crowd out. Sure beats a treadmill but that's just me. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Ohub Campfire mobile app
I seen a photo of it against a tape, it was just at 13.5 but this thing had more girth than I've ever seen on a perch personally. Looked like a mini football.
I pay good money to walk on a tread mill at the gym... But I hear ya, that's a pretty grueling trek! A nice trophy fish would make it memorial.
But the banana dyke is a free workout! But I guess there is also the cold factor. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Ohub Campfire mobile app
