    Thinking about making the trip this summer wondering how it is, what the trail conditions are like, camping situation, etc....
    Also wondering how it compares to the Manistee River/north country trail loop. Any info appreciated!

    Not sure what you're looking for, but its a nice hike and has a nice camping area. I believe its about 5 miles there and five back. If camping overnight, i, personally, would take the high trail part of the loop the first day and then easier sailing back the 2nd day. We did half the loop last summer, 2019 (used 2 cars).
