Coded wire tag in the snout. Those things are way too good to turn into salmon patties. That's what kings are for...

Ah, ok. Patties were the first thing that came to mind. We used to get so many kings when we lived in Alpena long ago.

I love salmon patties and eat them often. As far as I'm concerned, Atlantics are far and away the best eating silver fish in the lake. The only thing that really comes close is early coho.

Now we're talking! This will get some activity back to the Marinas on the east side.

That's a dandy! Anderson's Pro Bait will take the head and get the info where it needs to go...

Heck of a nice Atlantic! You are a hard core dude to be on a boat out there right now. Awsome!

This time of year launching the boat might be easy. Getting it back to the boat launch site might be another story if ice moves in.

Ya that ice flow in the background of the picture makes me nervous just lookin at it. But im not sure of the real circumstances, ive never fished that body of water. I sure do love that fish though.

Not safe to fish alone in cold water, I know a guy that might be willing to go with you. There's still snow, I'm still skiing, and I still have canned kings for patties.
