I have heard and read scuttlebutt of walleyes being planted and caught thru hearsay on Klinger Lake near Sturgis in St. Joesph county and Gravel Lake near Lawton in Van Buren County. Any info. or actual catch info. would be appreciated. Fished them both but no catch and people at access sight have only heard same stories. St. Joesph River is only actual hookup place I know.

The DNR stocks spring fingerlings in Klinger Lake every other year. The target is just over 40,000 fish around 1-2 inches and there have been some private fall fingerling plants as well. Gravel Lake is planted under a private permit and gets 1000 fall fingerlings a year.
