    Should i give it a go or hang it up for the season ? Marinas and canals would ne the only option .

    Back basin looked nasty on Wednesday Venetian current Had open water Past island and open to the back canal, Looks like we're done in Southern Michigan, Time to head North and catch some DEM Wales. Be Safe guys good luck In get the boats ready

    Yes sir. I wouldn't leave home without it. Rule of thumb is, once our ice is done the next 2 weekends at Simcoe are prime.

    Great season guys . The first half was one of the best Iv had .

    Needed to catch up on rest. Went the last 3 days. Shore ice was starting to soften out further was rock hard 10 inches. Slow bite, cloudy water, marked many whales. Each of the last 3 days 2pm was a hog bite. 30 more for the freezer. I'd also like to thank my mom & dad for the Marcum, no guessing anymore. Awesome season if only we could have got a week or 2 in March. Guster on Thursday meat only on Fri & Sat.     I don't like to give up until Jumbojake gives the
    final epitaph, but it's not looking good. Next stop

    The basin is too deep for me if I happen to break thru! I'll fish off the dock first. But yea! Was a good year perch and walleyes,
