Yep a lot of people are getting into hunting through food/cooking.
Once amateur food enthusiast find out chefs think wild game is the best meat available they want it for themselves.
Its a great reward after putting in a lot of work. Not to mention what it does for the soul.
Makes me think of a hilarious conversation I recently had with a family friend:
Me: I heard your husband shot a deer this year. I didn't know he hunted. That's great!
Her: yeah I can't wait to eat that amazing all natural, completely organic, free range, non-GMO fed venison.
Me: how do you know that organic free range venison didn't eat GMO corn and soybeans?
Her: well... That's a good question.
I also have a guy at work who keeps bugging me for trimmings because he wants to make some "salumi", big foodie that he is.

Wow bet this survey went over well with non hunters, 16%?
That's a refreshing way to get people involved.
