    8BFA9914-1F83-42F4-9245-97FDF8CC4C26.jpeg I am using a shallow aluminum
cookie sheet as a bath/water feature in my garden for hummingbirds. Unbeknownst to
me, the alum sheet began to turn
color. Is this bad for such a small
creature who may drink from this?
Should I switch to glass or plastic?

Aluminum oxide wont leach into the water, and like copper oxide, creates a protective barrier, once it is evenly oxidized, it essentially prevents further oxidation.
