I actually remember this 1960's TV ad. It didn't raise an eyebrow. Unimaginable in today's gynocentric culture.

Still neat to watch. How much we've lost!

I shuttled pilots and stewardesses who did not care to walk a step farther than they had to in the seventies.
Some were alright. Some were obnoxious.
It made some of theirs day when I slammed on the brakes and sent them tumbling with an" Oooops ,I have manual brakes on my car and this van has power".

Funny their percieved public attitudes before boarding a plane vs after. " Show- Time" mattered! So did my tips that for some reason were few......

YouTube is a little like a time machine. Look up some of the old Detroit commercials sometime.

Aww, cut the guy some slack. 1960 was a LOT of divorces ago. He's just a tad jaded.

I was but a lad in the 60's, but my memories are of the violent societal upheavals. Watts, Detroit etc riots, Kent State, the marches on Washington, The Chicago 7, The Kennedys getting whacked. MLK assasinated. Malcolm X, Woodstock, the Altamont debacle with the Stones and Hells Angels.
Relentless death on the news every night from that craphole Godforsaken jungle.
Casualty and body counts every day in the newspaper.

I wonder how much those women made from doing the commercial.

It's like they're talking about objects, not human beings. I'm glad my daughter didn't have to grow up in the 60's. Change is good.
