And after a long day on the river you can take it back to the lodge and play pool with it. And after that you can drape your 5mm neoprene waders over it to dry lol

They have it on close out for $379

I’m tempted just for the novelty!

It could be priced $3.79 and I still think you would struggle to get your moneys worth out of it...

But, life's short. Do what makes you happy.

Not if you are a marlin or tuna fisherman.

Well, a marlin or tuna fisherman that is lucky enough to be casting a fly at an apex pelagic... That's a small % of pelagic fisherman, which is in itself a VERY small % of fisherman to begin with... Any idea of the fuel bill for 1 single pelagic outing? That's like the lifetime gas bill for my 18' crestliner....

don't get me wrong, it's a dream, but sadly for most of us, that is all that will ever be. As Puny said, You do you.

Another idea, get a 8' mod-flex, hybrid glass/graphite 40-80 lb tuna blank and wrap 'er up into a fly rod. But then again, that's just me being me.
